21st of March, Friday:
Well, today was my Birthday! I spent a nice, peaceful, and quiet day doing what I wanted; which at times was nothing! We went to Red Lobster last week to celebrate my birthday, and I got the lobster, that I had been craving! My youngest Brother called to remind me just how "old" I was! Haha! He is so funny!
Today:
Today I talked to both my brothers,, and was again wished "Happy Birthday". My youngest brother called to tell me that my next birthday was coming up in just 364 days in case I forgot since I am so old! Boy is he going to get it, next time I see him! Both of my brothers are excited to see our new 5th wheel! The are both avid RVer's, one has a huge motor home with 3 slides, and the other one has a travel trailer, so it runs in the family!
Countdown:
Well, yesterday was day 4 and today is day 3! So only 3 days until we pick up the 5er! Man, this is getting so exciting and the anticipation is getting overwhelming!
It seems like everything is thought of in the relativity of picking up the 5er. I made sure I got rawhide bones for the dogs on Tuesday, because they don't like being put in the pantry, and they don't mind so much when they get a treat!
Pressure:
Now I find there is more pressure to get the rest of the things done. My sewing room is still not all packed up, and now I'm told that I need to take all my nick knacks, and things down in the kitchen so they can paint it. They want to get rid of my country blue. So that is more stuff to pack up. All my sponge ware collection, my country decorations, my country canister collection, and all my old cooking utensils that I have on the walls. I thought I was able to leave all that stuff where it was, now I find out they,(my son and future daughter in law) want it taken down so they can put up their own decorations. I fully understand this, and know I would want to do the same!
Easter:
Tomorrow is Easter and I haven't got anything ready. So that means I'll have to get the 6 Grandkids' baskets ready tonight, and make my Great Aunt Katie's sweet potato casserole, or I'll have a revolt on my hands tomorrow!
