Lazy Day:
What I would have normally called a wasted day, before, we retired turned out to be a good day! I would have called it wasted, because I normally did all my heavy house cleaning on Saturday, and I didn't do any work today! Not anything that I didn't want to do. I read all the blogs that I had been wanting to read. I played spider solitaire, did jigsaw puzzles, and played mah jong on line. In other words I just sort of piddled away the day on the laptop. I would have been filled with guilt before retirement, if I had done that! Don't get me wrong, I have plenty to get done, but just didn't do it. Maybe the weather had something to do with it, because it was raining when I got up. It was a nice relaxing day, and I didn't even cook dinner. Mike went and got fish at Long John Silvers, wasn't very healthy, but it did taste good!
Idiot Box:
Have you noticed that there isn't much on tv these days? It seems like there isn't any new movies on, and only reruns. I'm about reality showed out! They just keep makin' them, and they try to out do each other, and see who can be the most ridiculous! It seems like we turn the tv off earlier, and earlier every night. There are only so many nature shows, ya can watch, and half of them we've already seen.
I'll be back in the RV Dreams Chat room tonight, hope to see some of you there! At least there, I can actually talk to people instead of looking and watching tv. So until tomorrow...

FRIDAY!
Friday:
Today has been pretty laid back. I have packed 2 boxes from the kitchen, so I have a good start. I took down all my antique utensils and packed them away. My kitchen is going to look very bare from now on! I will pack all my blue sponge ware collection tomorrow. Gary (our Son) got me plenty of boxes, so I should be able to get quite a bit packed, before I ever run out of boxes, or packing tape. I will be excited to start work on our apartment in the 2 car garage. Since our bedroom is off the back of the garage, it just makes sense to use the garage for the kitchen, living room, dining room, and bathroom. It will be so nice to have less space to clean! Anyway, the packing is going smooth and it will be nice to get that off my plate. I will just take one room at a time, and then it won't be so overwhelming.
Why an apartment in the garage, when we have a perfectly good fiver sitting in the driveway? Well since our Son is buying the house on land contract, and we want to have a place to stay when we are in the area or when we have to hang up our keys, for health reasons, we want to have a place we know we can live in. I'm not planing on that being for a long time, but you never know what the future holds, so we want everything to be ready.
Tonight:
Tonight I have no plans except to spend my time in the RV Dreams chat room. I have been absent, and plan to catch up with all my friends there, find out what I've missed, and just generally relax, and unwind chatting with the group! We have a good time in there, and it will be fun to put some faces with the names at the RV Dreams Rally in June! Now it's just a month and a few days away, so we hope to learn lots of tips and ideas that we haven't thought of for our part time/ full time RVing experience until we get the hang of it. So far most of the trips we have made have been smooth, but I'm sure there are things we're doing, that would be easier or things we have simply not thought of doing, that we'll learn about at the rally! We already know we want a book we can write things in about camp sites, wifi, and, things like that for our own references. Things like what site we prefer, full hook ups, ect... so we know and all we have to do is look it up and make reservations. So until next time.....

HOME!!!
Home:
We came home from Alum Creek on Monday. It had started to sprinkle and was very cool, so rather than use all our propane to heat the fiver, we just decided to come home. We got packed up and on the road in less than an hour. After our trying time when we checked in, we had no problems with anything when we left. It was a smooth trip home with no problems. Just the kind we like!
Painting:
For the last 2 days I have been helping my son paint his old apartment. We got the upstairs all done, and the landlord said he would do the downstairs if we did the upstairs. My knees and back didn't enjoy the exercise very much, but I do enjoy painting.
Concert:
The concert on last Saturday night was Fab! It is always alot of fun to get together with the Noonatics! Peter Noone (Herman) was up for the large crowd, and very funny! He says, he always feels 17 on stage! We got home at midnight, and then it took me until 1:30a.m. to wind down! He sure puts on a high energy show, that's for sure!
Packing:
I have lots of empty boxes in my kitchen waiting to be filled with all my nick knacks. After painting the last 2 days I just couldn't seem to make myself get started, so anyone want to guess what I'll be doing tomorrow, and the rest of the week? I must admit, it's not a job that I'm looking forward to doing! It's going to make everything look so bare! After doing that I'll be anxious to get our apartment done in the 2 car garage, so I can get my things back out of the boxes!
