This the story of our journey, Into Something Good, going Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and trying to Hold Onto Our Dreams. How we got on the way to becoming HALF time RVers! Our Ford 350 super duty diesel truck is our horses, we call it the Beast . Our 2008 34'7" 3 slide Cedar Creek Silverback fifth wheel is our Prairie Schooner Wagon,we call it the Bear. Just like the first RVers, the Pioneers of Yesteryear traveling around the country searching for a rich full filling life! Come along with us for the ride and read about our triumphs and mishaps along the way! About to be Part time RVers in a Cedar Creek Silverback 2008, 34'7", 3 slide 5th wheel, which is our Prairie Schooner Wagon, and a 2006 Ford 350 super duty 1 ton diesel truck is our horses, or oxen, only we have to feed it diesel instead of grass, and oats, which costs a lot more! Retired Air Force empty nesters off to see the good ole USA! Favorite Quote: "Life is a Blank Canvas, Made For Me to Add the Colors" Goal: I am trying to add as many colors as I can to my life!

DUELING LAPTOPS !

Watching Autumn and Tehya:
Yesterday afternoon while I finished painting the bead board the girls played on the laptops, and had a blast! They both played games and most of the time they played the same games, and played against each other! Of course during that time I had to let them each try to paint the wall. Why is it so hard to tell a Grandchild " NO"? I want them to be able to experience things, and I let them try to do things that sometimes they aren't able to do well, but they seem to get a charge out of trying. I was afraid that they would both get paint on their clothes, which they didn't, and they decided that painting walls was fun but hard work. Maybe I didn't do so bad letting them try to paint after all, it seemed like when my boys were small I was always telling them, no you can't do that. Once I started doing day care I learned, that with kids you have to pick and choose your battles. So I guess that's why I let my Grandkids try things as long as it's something that won't hurt them. It's too bad we can't go back and change things we did with our own kids. That would be one thing I would change. I was way too uptight and worried about them getting dirty!

Tomorrow:
I get to go play with 27 girls, for Autumn's Birthday Party, and make beads bracelets, paint sun catchers, and paint sweet little faces! That will actually bring back memories of the 17 & 1/2 years that I did day care. As long as it makes Autumn happy, it will be worth it, and I have to say I had a blast most of the time when I ran my day care.

Today:
I again watched Tehya today, and then we picked up Kara at her school in Dayton. Kara is spending the weekend with us, and then going to Autumn's party tomorrow. Jamie, her Dad is working double shifts this weekend, so we'll have some fun with Kara. We're going to do some shopping and then go to the birthday party. Kara also has a fitting for her dress for Gary's wedding. She is so excited to be a junior bridesmaid! Well my weekend is going to be busy enough for me, and I'll probally be very glad for Sunday to arrive! So I'll plan on being back here if I survive, so until then...
