Cold:
The last 2 days it has been bitterly cold here, and tonight and tomorrow we are under a winter storm warning for ICE and SNOW. We are supposed to get 3 to 5 inches of snow and then ice on top of that! Gee I just can't wait! We'll see if the weather forecasters are right. I hope if we have to get it that it doesn't start until after noon tomorrow, because that would give us time to go get a few things from the store before it hits. I don't need much just a few items if we can get to the store, if not I think we can manage without them. We saw a few motor homes and fifth wheels going south today when we were on our way to Walmart. I wish it had been us going that way with the fiver in back of us! I didn't think we were supposed to get any thing out of this storm so I figured I would just run to the grocery tomorrow. Then this evening they changed the forecast on me! Mike is wishing he'd thought to stop at Lowe's and get a few things to use this weekend. Oh well I guess we'll deal with whatever the weather hands us. The grocery is only about 2 and a 1/2 miles, so maybe we can still make it if we wait until the afternoon after the roads have been cleared.
Kara:
Kara is supposed to come and spend the night with us tomorrow too. She will be real disappointed if they can't get out here because of the weather! They live about 20 miles away and she hasn't got to stay since the week end before Christmas. Usually she is here about every other week end if she has anything to say about it.
Apartment:
Wow, I actually got my little china cabinet moved out here to the apartment yesterday! Now I just have to finish putting the rest of the things back into it. I hope to get my buffet moved out here this weekend. Those are the only 2 items that I wanted to keep for the apartment from the dining room in the house. The table and the benches and the chairs I gave to Gary and Mariah. Some of the other things went to Jamie and Corey for their houses, or are stored in the wooden barn out back for them.
Well it seems I am running out of things to say, and my eyes are just wanting to close, so I think I'll say good night to ya all. Sweed Dreams until we meet again...
