About US

My photo
This the story of our journey, Into Something Good, going Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and trying to Hold Onto Our Dreams. How we got on the way to becoming HALF time RVers! Our Ford 350 super duty diesel truck is our horses, we call it the Beast . Our 2008 34'7" 3 slide Cedar Creek Silverback fifth wheel is our Prairie Schooner Wagon,we call it the Bear. Just like the first RVers, the Pioneers of Yesteryear traveling around the country searching for a rich full filling life! Come along with us for the ride and read about our triumphs and mishaps along the way! About to be Part time RVers in a Cedar Creek Silverback 2008, 34'7", 3 slide 5th wheel, which is our Prairie Schooner Wagon, and a 2006 Ford 350 super duty 1 ton diesel truck is our horses, or oxen, only we have to feed it diesel instead of grass, and oats, which costs a lot more! Retired Air Force empty nesters off to see the good ole USA! Favorite Quote: "Life is a Blank Canvas, Made For Me to Add the Colors" Goal: I am trying to add as many colors as I can to my life!

SNOW AND ICE BOUND !

Yesterday:
My Poppy came down and got me at Mike's Mom's house yesterday in between storms. We now have about a 1/2 inch of ice on everything, and now it is snowing on top of that. We are supposed to get at least another 3 inches of snow. This dial up isn't working very well, and I can't type in color or fix mistakes, so I appoligize in advance if I make mistakes. On dial up the correct posting page does not come up. It took me an hour just to conect to the internet, and I almost gave up! As it is it takes about a minute for what I type to show up on the screen. It may be the layers of ice on the phone lines causing the problem. We are under a Level 2 weather emergency, which means if you don't have to don't be out on the roads. The Grandkids haven't had school for 2 days because of this storm. Our power has flickered several times her in Circleville, but we still have power when alot of other people don't. It looks very pretty outside, but I would never contemplate going out in it. I'm sorry this is short, but with the way the weather is and the difficulties with the dial up I'm going to close, so ya'll stay warm, safe, and healthy and I hope I can get better results on here tomorrow, so until then...
