About US

My photo
This the story of our journey, Into Something Good, going Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and trying to Hold Onto Our Dreams. How we got on the way to becoming HALF time RVers! Our Ford 350 super duty diesel truck is our horses, we call it the Beast . Our 2008 34'7" 3 slide Cedar Creek Silverback fifth wheel is our Prairie Schooner Wagon,we call it the Bear. Just like the first RVers, the Pioneers of Yesteryear traveling around the country searching for a rich full filling life! Come along with us for the ride and read about our triumphs and mishaps along the way! About to be Part time RVers in a Cedar Creek Silverback 2008, 34'7", 3 slide 5th wheel, which is our Prairie Schooner Wagon, and a 2006 Ford 350 super duty 1 ton diesel truck is our horses, or oxen, only we have to feed it diesel instead of grass, and oats, which costs a lot more! Retired Air Force empty nesters off to see the good ole USA! Favorite Quote: "Life is a Blank Canvas, Made For Me to Add the Colors" Goal: I am trying to add as many colors as I can to my life!

Home Today (Friday):
We got home today about noon, and got the fiver set back up in the drive. I've just posted a few pictures today, I've got lots more, but I need to get them in some kind of order before I post them. It's too hard to choose, cos I've got lot's of favorites this time! We had a great relaxing time at Indian Lake.

Tuesday:
We had a nice hour drive to Indian Lake on Tuesday afternoon at about 2:00 p.m. Once we found our site, we realized the site would never work, because there were 6 trees on the site, and our slides would never come out. So we had to change our site to another one across the road. It turns out we got the best deal, by changing sites. As you can see, by the pictures we're right next to the lake. What an awesome site. We had a great place to fish, except we didn't have our poles. We had to stop at the marina and pick them up, because when we sold our pontoon boat, we forgot to take them all out of the boat. They kept them for us, how many places do you know that would do that nowadays? Anyway over the next few days I'll write more and post more pictures as we go along. I got some really cute animal pictures to post. So until tomorrow, don't get too wet...
