About US

My photo
This the story of our journey, Into Something Good, going Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and trying to Hold Onto Our Dreams. How we got on the way to becoming HALF time RVers! Our Ford 350 super duty diesel truck is our horses, we call it the Beast . Our 2008 34'7" 3 slide Cedar Creek Silverback fifth wheel is our Prairie Schooner Wagon,we call it the Bear. Just like the first RVers, the Pioneers of Yesteryear traveling around the country searching for a rich full filling life! Come along with us for the ride and read about our triumphs and mishaps along the way! About to be Part time RVers in a Cedar Creek Silverback 2008, 34'7", 3 slide 5th wheel, which is our Prairie Schooner Wagon, and a 2006 Ford 350 super duty 1 ton diesel truck is our horses, or oxen, only we have to feed it diesel instead of grass, and oats, which costs a lot more! Retired Air Force empty nesters off to see the good ole USA! Favorite Quote: "Life is a Blank Canvas, Made For Me to Add the Colors" Goal: I am trying to add as many colors as I can to my life!

HO HUM DAY

Saturday:
Today was quiet, and very nice. We did some reading, and messed around on the computer, and then went out to a Chinese place for dinner. It was a buffet, and boy did they have lot's of stuff to eat. I had a bit of General Tso's chicken and some stir fried broccoli . Then I had 3 crab legs, and they were very good. This was the first time I had seen cheesecake at a buffet, so I had a piece of that for desert, and called it quits. These kind of places have way to much to choose from, and you never get your money's worth, but we saw a few people in there who got their money's worth and some other peoples too! I think they ended up eating the place's profits too! LOL! Oh well, I didn't mind them using my money's worth, cos I couldn't eat it all anyway!

Moving:
Monday we will be moving to Alum Creek State Park again. We really like that park, and we may stay a few days. After that we're going home so I can see my dog, Dutchess, and stay home for a couple of weeks, then we'll be going back down to Circleville to house sit for my brother. When we go back down we will add Dutchess to the mix, and see how she does being in the fiver. We'll start out introducing her to the fiver when we get home, since we'll be living in it. We have lots to do when we get home for the next two weeks. Refilling prescriptions, and getting new ones. I also have to make a couple of Dr appointments too. I want to get my sewing stuff organized in the bedroom at home too, and we have lots of wash to do. Sounds like we'll be busy, but I'll try to keep ya all informed of whats going on, so until tomorrow friends and family....
