About US

My photo
This the story of our journey, Into Something Good, going Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and trying to Hold Onto Our Dreams. How we got on the way to becoming HALF time RVers! Our Ford 350 super duty diesel truck is our horses, we call it the Beast . Our 2008 34'7" 3 slide Cedar Creek Silverback fifth wheel is our Prairie Schooner Wagon,we call it the Bear. Just like the first RVers, the Pioneers of Yesteryear traveling around the country searching for a rich full filling life! Come along with us for the ride and read about our triumphs and mishaps along the way! About to be Part time RVers in a Cedar Creek Silverback 2008, 34'7", 3 slide 5th wheel, which is our Prairie Schooner Wagon, and a 2006 Ford 350 super duty 1 ton diesel truck is our horses, or oxen, only we have to feed it diesel instead of grass, and oats, which costs a lot more! Retired Air Force empty nesters off to see the good ole USA! Favorite Quote: "Life is a Blank Canvas, Made For Me to Add the Colors" Goal: I am trying to add as many colors as I can to my life!

SORRY SO SLOW !!!

Monday:
Sorry I haven't written for a few days! Monday afternoon we left and drove to my brother's house, it was a short drive with no problems. Yesterday was taken up with family things, and a cookout last night. I had to pay for my campsight at my brother's house. So I again fixed steak and shrimp on the grill, this time with my Mom & Pop here too. I told Alan (my brother) that this campsite is getting expensive, costing me a steak and shrimp dinner everytime we stay here! LOL!

Today:
Today we went to Wally World, to get some things we needed, and some craft things for Autumn, and Tehya. We have to go to Mike's Moms on Friday, to take our turn staying with her. My son is bringing them down to Mike's Moms on Sunday. Then we'll go to my Mom & Pop's for dinner, so they can see the girls. After that we'll come over to Alan's and get them to bed. Then on Monday we'll leave to go to Alum Creek state park. The girls are so excited they can hardly wait! We're going to try to take them to the Columbus Zoo this next week if the weather is good. We're trying to get as much rest as we can, so we can keep up with these 2 very lively little girls! Of course, we'll be exhausted when we get them home on the 4th of July! Until tomorrow friends....

Great! Have fun with the kids. Any chance of photos of the zoo and Alum Creek State Park?
