About US

My photo
This the story of our journey, Into Something Good, going Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and trying to Hold Onto Our Dreams. How we got on the way to becoming HALF time RVers! Our Ford 350 super duty diesel truck is our horses, we call it the Beast . Our 2008 34'7" 3 slide Cedar Creek Silverback fifth wheel is our Prairie Schooner Wagon,we call it the Bear. Just like the first RVers, the Pioneers of Yesteryear traveling around the country searching for a rich full filling life! Come along with us for the ride and read about our triumphs and mishaps along the way! About to be Part time RVers in a Cedar Creek Silverback 2008, 34'7", 3 slide 5th wheel, which is our Prairie Schooner Wagon, and a 2006 Ford 350 super duty 1 ton diesel truck is our horses, or oxen, only we have to feed it diesel instead of grass, and oats, which costs a lot more! Retired Air Force empty nesters off to see the good ole USA! Favorite Quote: "Life is a Blank Canvas, Made For Me to Add the Colors" Goal: I am trying to add as many colors as I can to my life!

BEAUTIFUL DAY IN CENTRAL OHIO!

Day 5:
We have now spent 5 days in our new fiver! So far it is everything we'd hoped it would be, and we're only in my brother's driveway! I can't wait to get to a real rv campground!! It has been fun and we're havin' a blast. I'm missing my dog and my birds though.

Off Line:
Tuesday and Wednesday we will be off line, so there won't be any blog those days. We're going to go to Chillicothe, Ohio and spend a couple of nights with Mike's recently widowed Mom. She is 83 and the family do not want her living by herself now. Mike's brother will be down either on Thursday or Friday to take over. We'll have to be home by Sunday.

Cooking:
I have yet to do any cooking in the fiver! The only thing I have done is heat up some soup in the microwave! Oh well. I'm sure that I'll be cooking soon enough, cos we can't eat at some one's house all the time. Last night we ate at my mother's house. I haven't dirtied a pan, or made a mess in the kitchen, but the eating out will soon stop, and I'll have to get busy.

Flowers:
The flower's are blooming here, ones like tulips, daffodil's, and some crocus too! Some of the flowering bushes have started to bloom also. I have seen forsythia's and red bud trees in bloom, and they are gorgeous now. I took pictures so soon I'll post them. Up in Medway, Ohio where we live, the flowers, and trees are about two weeks behind here in Circleville. So by the time we get home everything should be starting to bloom at our house. It is about 6o degrees here today!

Indian Mound:
I took some pictures of the Indian mound on my mom and pops land. I want to get going on the pictures when I get home and get them posted. Have a fabulous day everyone!
