Happy New Year!!
We wish you all a very Happy New Year! Our New Year's Eve was pretty layed back, but then we didn't expect it to be anything else. We spent it with our good friend Sue, and had Chinese for our dinner. We all 3 struggled with memories of New Year's in the past with Rick. We did make it til midnight, and then we came home, after we toasted the New Year, and Rick.
New Years Day:
We have spent a nice quiet New Years Day! I did fix pork and sauerkraut, but we didn't eat it. We decided to save it for tomorrow, since we were not really all that hungry this evening. We shared a meal with Gary and Mariah instead, since they had extra food, and we didn't want very much to eat anyway. Tomorrow I have to get back on my water drinking, I haven't had as much the last few days and I can really tell a difference. I'm really thirsty, and nothing I'm drinking is helping. The rest of the day we just sort of messed around doing little odd jobs. Like me watering my flowers, and picking up here and there nothing major though! Tomorrow is another trip to Lowes and we have to stop and get Dutchess's and Hannah's new dog licenses. They are up to $16.00 a piece for Ohio! That has went up in the last few years about 50%! We have to keep our 4 legged family members legal though! That reminds me I have to check Dutchess's shot record and see if she is due for any shots. Well I hope you all had a great New Year's Day and I hope that the New Year will bring you all everything that you wish for, and so until tomorrow...
