Tehya's Fifth Birthday Party:
Today was the Birthday party for our youngest Grand Daughter, Tehya. The party started at 1:00p.m. and ended at 3:00p.m. I painted faces again for about 7 girls and 1 little boy. I was a little out of practice, but I managed to do a snowman, stars, rainbows, hearts and 1 butterfly! In my days of running a day care, I used to paint the kids faces at least once a week and I got pretty good, but this is only the 2nd time I have done it since I retired from doing day care in 2001. I have to admit that I am a little rusty, but it did bring back good memories!
Mike:
Mike dropped Kara and I off for the party today and after wishing Tehya a Happy Birthday he left for Chillicothe and his Mom's house. He will be there until Wednesday until his brother, David gets there. It will nice when he can stay home for more than 2 days. It seemed like he just got here and then had to turn around and leave again. I hope we can get back on track working on the apartment when Mike gets back. I'm ready to get that done so we have time for rving when it warms up a little bit!
Kara:
Tomorrow Jamie will be here around noon tomorrow to pick up Kara, and take her home. I have been able to have Kara since Friday, and it has been great having her here! I think we have been able to get in enough snuggle time to last until she can come back.
Tomorrow:
Since I got the paint for the bathroom, I am planning to get the bathroom painted after Kara goes home. That is unless something better comes along. I love being retired, and making plans that are set in Jello. If it melts, and things don't work out that way it's nice to be able to go with the flow! Now on that note I'm going to go spend the rest of the evening snuggling with Kara! So I'll see ya's tomorrow...
