What Internet:
Hi Hello, and all that! When we got to Alum Creek State Park on Monday, we found out that they had a thunderstorm over the weekend, and their internet was down! They also did not know when it would be fixed, as lightening had struck a tree, so it had to be fixed.
Monday:
After we got set up at our campsite, it started to rain, so no playground time for the girls on Monday. They spent the rest of the time playing a game called Purble Place, a game that was on the laptops when we bought them. They make cakes, put funny faces on aliens, and play a game like concentration. For a 4 year old, and a 6 year old, they were able to play the advanced levels, so I thought they were pretty good at it.
Tuesday:
We got up and had breakfast, then I took the girls to the playground, and they made some friends so they had someone to play with. When we came back from the playground , it was craft time. I had sun catchers for them to paint. So out to the picnic table we went. They painted 2 sun catchers each so that kept them busy for about an hour, and until dinner time.
Wednesday:
When we got everything ready we went to the zoo. Boy were we exhausted after that! Not the girls, Grammy, and Grandpa!!!! Wouldn't ya know I forgot my camera! The kids had a good time, and it wasn't their first time, so that was good. They especially liked the wolves, and the monkeys! One of the monkeys was kissing Autumn through the glass! Man I missed my camera, wouldn't that have been a great picture? After we got back to the 5er, we turned on the AC and just rested. Walking the zoo isn't good when you're on crutches! Uphill and downhill everywhere we went!
Thursday:
Today when we got up it was raining so that meant inside activities. Well now I was racking my brain, trying to think of things that Autumn and Tehya could do in the 5er. That left out painting, using glue and messy things like that! Well I managed to get through the day, and now it's 9:45. The girls are watching Shrek the 3rd. The finally got the internet fixed today, so I took this chance to catch you all up on the week. I know I forgot things, but that's what I can remember right now.
Tomorrow we're going home. So I will write more after I rest up! It's quite challenging entertaining 2 little girls all day!
